License Transfer
Our software requires you to register for a license to use the software.
The software license allows you to use the software on one computer.
If you wish to transfer the software license to a new computer, follow these steps.
Install the software on the computer you wish to transfer the license to.
Launch the software. The Product Activation Window will open.
Copy the Registration ID in the Registration ID field in the Activation Section of the Product Activation Window.
Launch the software on the computer you wish to transfer the license from.
Go License -> Transfer License on the Menu Bar.
The License Transfer Window will open.
Paste the Registration ID of the computer you wish to transfer the license to into the Registration ID of New Computer field in the Manual Transfer Section of the License Transfer Window.
Click the Transfer Out button.
The License Key from the computer you wish to transfer the license to will appear in the License Key for New Computer field.
Use this Registration ID and License Key to complete Activation of the software on the new computer.
Your software license will be transfered and the Transfer Out License Successful message will be displayed.
A text file named TransferOutRegistrationIDandLicenseKey will also open with the Registration ID and License Key for the computer you wish to transfer the license to.
This text file is a record of your new Registration ID and License Key.
This text file can be found in the folder C:\HookinCrochet Crochet Graph Designer\RegistrationInfo.
The Confirmation message will be displayed. Click Yes to exit.
The Close HookinCrochet Crochet Graph Designer message will be displayed.
Click Yes to close the program. Click No to save any file that may be open.
The software will then close along with all open messages.
The text file named TransferOutRegistrationIDandLicenseKey will remain open.
Copy this text file to the new computer you wish to transfer the license to in order to complete Activation of the software on the new computer.
Product Activation On New Computer
Launch the software on the computer you are transfering the license to.
The Product Activation Window will open.
Paste the Transfer Out License Key into the License Key field in the Activation Section of the Product Activation Window.
Click the Activate button.
The Activation Complete message will be displayed.
A text file named RegistrationIDandLicenseKey.txt will open.
The text file named RegistrationIDandLicenseKey.txt is a record of your Registration ID and License Key.
This text file can be found in the folder C:\HookinCrochet Crochet Graph Designer\RegistrationInfo.
The software is now activated and ready for use on the new computer.
Click OK to close the Activation Complete message.
Do not close the text file named RegistrationIDandLicenseKey.txt.
You will need the information in this file for the next step.
Go License - > Transfer License on the Menu Bar.
The License Transfer Window will open.
Paste the Registration ID for New Computer in the Registration ID field in the Transfer Notification Section of the License Transfer Window.
Click the Transfer Notify button.
You will be taken to our website to complete the License Transfer Notification Form to send us your new Registration ID and License Key details so we can update our records.
